Your information

Privacy policy

This notice explains how Glacier Cleaning Services uses personal information when you visit this website, ask for a quote or become a customer.

Last updated: 28 July 2026

Who is responsible for your information?

Glacier Cleaning Services is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@glaciercleaningservices.co.uk or raised by calling 07901 153223.

Information we may collect

  • Your name, telephone number, email address and postcode.
  • Details about the property, service requested and photographs you choose to send.
  • Messages sent through email, telephone, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or another contact method.
  • Quote, appointment, payment and service records where you become a customer.
  • Basic website usage and technical information collected by hosting, security and analytics services.

How we use personal information

  • To respond to enquiries and prepare or discuss a quote.
  • To arrange, provide and follow up cleaning services.
  • To manage customer records, invoices, payments and business administration.
  • To protect the website, prevent misuse and understand general website performance.
  • To meet legal, tax, accounting, insurance or dispute-handling obligations.

Depending on the circumstances, the legal basis may be taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation or pursuing legitimate business interests such as responding to customers and protecting the website.

Website enquiries, email and WhatsApp

When you submit the public enquiry form, the details you provide are sent securely to Glacier Cleaning Services, stored in its protected lead-management database and used to respond, prepare a quote and follow up the potential work. An email notification may also be sent to Glacier through its email provider.

Authorised staff can update the enquiry with its status, quote or job value, follow-up date and internal notes. You can instead contact Glacier by telephone or WhatsApp; your chosen telephone or messaging provider will process that communication under its own privacy terms.

Glacier may send an operational copy of an enquiry to a private, staff-only Discord channel so the team can respond promptly. This notification can include the name, contact details, postcode, requested service and message supplied in the form. Discord processes that copy as a messaging provider; the protected Glacier lead record remains the main business record.

Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Photographs should not include people, vehicle registration numbers or neighbouring properties unless relevant and appropriate.

Website services and external providers

The website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish genuine visitors from automated spam when the enquiry form is submitted. Cloudflare may process basic device, browser, network and interaction information to provide this security check.

The website may also use hosting, security and privacy-conscious analytics services to operate and understand general usage. It embeds Google Maps and links to services such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and email providers. Those organisations may receive technical information when you view embedded content or follow an external link.

External services are responsible for their own use of information. You can choose not to interact with the map or an external messaging link and contact Glacier directly instead.

How long information is kept

Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, follow up and manage the potential work. Customer, invoice and transaction records may be kept longer where required for tax, accounting, insurance, legal or dispute purposes.

Information that is no longer required will be deleted, anonymised or securely disposed of where reasonably practicable.

Sharing and international services

Personal information is not sold. It may be shared with service providers that support hosting, email, messaging, payments, accounting, security or business administration, and with professional advisers or authorities where necessary.

Some providers, including large technology and messaging platforms, may process information outside the United Kingdom. Those providers are responsible for using appropriate safeguards under their applicable terms and privacy arrangements.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis being relied upon.

Contact Glacier first using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe your information has been handled improperly.

Visit the Information Commissioner’s Office complaint guidance.
